London Heathrow - London Paddington - London Euston - Manchester Piccadilly - Bolton
Gatwick Railway Station - London Victoria - London Euston - Manchester Piccadilly - Bolton
- Northern Rail opperate Manchester Airport, Manchester Piccadilly and Bolton lines. Visit their website for times and fares.
- Virgin Trains opperate London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly line. Visit their website for times and fares.
- Heathrow Connect opperates Heathrow to London Paddington line. Trains run every 30 mins and a single costs £6.90, open return costs £13.80. The journey will take approx 35 mins.
- Heathrow Express also connects Heathrow with London Paddington, and takes just 15mins. Services run every 15mins. £16.50 for a single and £32 open return.
- Gatwick Express opperates a fast link between London Victoria and London Gatwick Airport. Trains run every 15 mins and take approx. 35 mins. £16.90 single and £28.80 open return. To book visit their website.
- Gatwick Railway Station is opperated by Network Rail and is directly linked to the South Terminal and is only a few minutes away from the North Terminal via a free transit which runs every 3 mins. during peak times.
Leigh does not have a train station, the nearest station to Leigh is Atherton which is approx 3 miles away.
Local Trains
Howich Parkway is situated just across the road from the Reebok Stadium, and runs services to Bolton and Manchester City Centre. Northern Rail operate this line and for an up to date timetable and fares please visit their website.
Services run through out the week and on Sundays. Off Peak Day Return usually costs around £2.60 and an Any Time Day Return costs around £4.10. But please check the operators website for up to date information.
