Dear Athlete

We are now entering the final few days of preparation for the 2010 IRONMAN UK event. As you are no doubt getting everything that you need in place, we would just like to remind you all to bring your PHOTO ID with you to Registration - as per the instructions on the event website at www.ironmanuk.com

Please note that if you do not produce PHOTO ID then you will NOT be allowed to Register and race. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS. This is due to our Insurance Policy which requires us to ensure that everyone who is racing is in fact who they say they are!

A number of athletes in previous years have forgotten to bring photo ID and subsequently they were not allowed to race. So please bring PHOTO ID with you to Registration and make sure your months of hard work and training are not wasted!

If you have booked a Shuttle bus you will have to

- collect your shuttle bus wrist band at Registration.

- This wrist band has your bus booking time on it and is also coloured to coordinate with the time you have booked.

- On Race Morning when you go to the Reebok to catch the bus please queue next to the corresponding coloured sign as per your wrist band time that you booked.

- There will be security in place to ensure that only athletes with the correct band get on the buses at the correct times.

Please make sure you adhere to your pre-booked time as this will ensure a smooth start to your Race.

If you have booked a car parking place at the Swim Start, you will need to collect your permit at Registration. Please note that the Race Office is NO LONGER taking bookings for either the shuttle bus or parking on Race Morning at the swim start, so if you have not booked either of these we persume the Star Ship Enterprise will be beaming you to the swim start!!!

Good luck with your final race preparations and see you on the start line, the Race Office wishes you the best of luck and all that hard work and training will be worth it when you cross the Finish Line and hear the words 'YOU ARE AN IRONMAN/WOMAN!!'.........
