Last year, the UK IRONMAN 70.3 attracted its fair share of novice athletes looking to tackle the race, the distance and even the sport for the first time. What became apparent is the lack of assistance and knowledge available to the first timers attempting this distance. So IRONMAN UK, in association with TRI UK and thetrilife.com, has teamed up to try and offer training programmes and Familiarisation Camps. thetrilife.com have put some training programmes together, exclusively for the UK IRONMAN 70.3. These programmes are specific for the UK IRONMAN 70.3 Course and you will recieve support and advice from their staff. All the programmes are designed by leading long distance triathlon coaches, Richard Jones and the team at the TriLife.com. What you will recieve:
You may choose between a “6 sessions per week” or” 9 sessions per week” program. The “6 sessions per week” will be great for the first time UK Ironman 70.3 athlete or an athlete with limited time looking to make the most of their training. The “9 sessions per week” is aimed at athletes with more time available or for an athlete looking to make significant performance gains. |
