Information

IRONMAN UK provides 17 hours of spectating opportunity. You can find a link below to our updated Spectator Guide which offers advice on the best way to get around the area and view the action from the roadside. The guide also includes a list of places to eat in Bolton and lists the road closures to avoid.

The 2013 Spectator Guide will be available in the weeks leading up to the race, so that spectators can plan their day and the best locations to see their athletes.

We want you to enjoy your day and have the best chance of seeing your athlete whilst they are on the course and crossing the all important Finish Line.

Road Closures

There will be various Road Closures in place around the Bike and Run course throughout the day. These are in place so that your athlete and the other competing are safe. There will be marshals on all the junctions, who will be on hand to help you get to where you need to go, but please be aware that your journey may take longer than usual, so leave plenty of time.
